Sandy Spring Museum - Exterior Lighting
A new exterior lighting scheme for Sandy Spring Museum utilizes several different layers of lights to create a sense of depth and a visual invitation to enter the scene. Landscape lighting established a frame and a foreground. Pole lighting created an unobtrusive field of even light for improved safety. Lights on the white trellised walkway highlight the primary approach to the entrance their color-tuning feature is used to signal special events. Architectural features such as the metal roof and the brick gable and chimney are highlighted to become focal points.
